About Mrs. Geraghty

This is my fourth year at Wheeler High School and I am a proud Wildcat! Before teaching high school, I taught elementary school for five years. I enjoy working with teenagers because they analyze what they learn and apply what they learn to the world today.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy (double major) from Gordon College in Massachusetts. I also have a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from Valdosta State University.

New Jersey is where I was born and raised, but Atlanta has been my family's home for the last decade and a half. I love the people and the weather in the South!

Travel has taken me to Africa, Asia and Europe. Visiting new lands and meeting new people have been integral to deepening my education and widening my worldview.

When I am not at school, you may find me reading, playing tennis and hanging out with my mutts Mojo and Ginny!
